The Tidal Flow Women's Festival is held in Trpanj, Croatia, halfway between Split and Dubrovnik on the northern shore of the Peljesac Peninsula.
Peljesac Peninsula offers a magnificent mountainous background of beautiful bays and picturesque villages where time stands still. There are many vineyards and olive orchards, and it is well known as one of the most famous Croatian regions for producing high-quality red wines and native grapes. Mike Grgich, one of the top Californian winemakers, came from Peljesac.
The Tidal Flow Festival Visionary and Host is Lena Milosevic, granddaughter of the original builders of Villa Gric. Villa Gric, a 19th Century Mediterranean villa, was initially built in 1815, and renovated between 1999 – 2001 with much love by its owners, the Milosevic family.
The tranquillity and quiet, picturesque landscape of this region is surrounded by rock and pebble beaches, the crystal clear sea and hospitality of the villagers. The Tidal Flow Festival at Villa Grič in Trpanj, Croatia will refuel your soul, leaving you nourished and deeply cared for. ⊰

The Howling: Reclaim Your Feminine Aliveness
Reclaim the unshamed potency of being fully alive… of feeling life intimately awake and pulsating within you, without the need to direct, doubt, manipulate, or steer the ship. Through primal sound and sister echoes, we'll work with one of my embodiment practices called, The Howling, to feel how nature is personally guiding us into aligned place within all of life. Through writing prompts and reflective exercises, we’ll taste and test the parameters of our Sacred No, while stepping into a deeper relationship with our most dangerous Yes. Out of this we’ll scribe our Prayer of Aliveness and offer this to our hearts in subtle ceremony.

Wombing Initiation ~ in the Sacred Feminine Waters
Receive the unique medicine for this season of your life, from the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Join Sharon and fellow Festival Sisters at the water’s edge, softly stepping into an ancient Ceremony of Initiation of your Wise Womanhood. Women are welcomed into the center of the circle/small pod, to receive blessings and anointing through the rites of feminine water wombing. This is an energetic and physical practice, of being washed by the sacred waters as the receiver feels the deepest initiation of letting go into a state of her own surrender into fluid form. Sharon offers gentle sound and song, inviting sisters to join in as moved to, while we together create a somatically attuned field of listening to each sister’s heart and how to attend to her as her soul water midwives. Our only intention is to hold space for each woman as she returns to the sea, unraveling and restoring past constriction in the most palpable depths of her being.

Sharon intuitively crafts a ceremony just for her (through listening to her subtle body and soul wisdom), which we then share in together - to bless her current life cycle, transformation, ancestry and next steps. These ceremonies are personally crafted and may include (but are not limited to): working with the elements; connecting with one’s ancestors, the earth and your inner wisdom and native medicine; song and personalized chant; spoken oracle and hands on/off blessings, follow up rituals, the release of past patterns and ancient ties, and energy acknowledgment through your wise woman initiation.

I began life sitting under an oak tree, listening to the wisdom of the earth, wind, water and soil.
I am an author, mother, wise woman and transformational facilitator. Through the hypnotic and shamanic arts, and my connection to nature and the wild feminine mysteries, I provide a safe and vulnerable space for others to find their inner wisdom, self-healing and creative love. Women experience a deep return to a state of ease, grace, fierceness, innocence and their inherent being. My private practice is based in Portland, Oregon USA, where I live with my life partner and our 3 boys. I appreciate growing closer to my humanity everyday, and look forward to being in Croatia (and Europe) for the very first time! I'm honored to be co-creating this beautiful experience with a group of 14+ international facilitators under the visionary leadership of Lena Milosevic. To the healing of our Ancient Sisterhood. 🌸 |
